Downtown Spokane Studio Engagement Session
As a wedding and lifestyle photographer, I’m no stranger to indoor sessions (especially with families). In fact, I really enjoy a cozy indoor session. So when Sydney reached out to me on Instagram requesting a cozy indoor vibe, I was sold. Sydney and Ryan’s downtown Spokane studio engagement session was such a fun twist to what I am used to for engagements. I loved being in a different atmosphere and helping ensure this sweet couple got exactly what they were looking for.
Indoor Studio Engagement Session
When we were searching for an artsy space to rent for their studio engagement photos, we stumbled across the perfect building. Not only were we obsessed with the indoor portion, but it had a fun rooftop and a lit parking garage with the most beautiful light shining through. What first drew Sydney to my work was how natural and comfortable my clients looked- I’m all about creating prompts and movements that create candid emotions, then of course use a little posing for those classic shots. It’s also fun to mix some moody photos, while still maintaining the excitement of a session, especially engagements. So when Sydney pointed out that that was what drew her to my work, I was flattered!
I absolutely loved the cozy vibes within the studio. Lifestyle sessions definitely are some of my favorites to capture. It was so fun creating magic with Sydney and Ryan during their downtown Spokane studio engagement session. They actually only had a small window to take their photos in because Ryan is currently stationed in Germany (which is where these two lovebirds got engaged). I’m so excited for them to tie the knot and close the “distance gap” that so many military couples tackle.
