Pullman, Washington Summer Engagement Session
Does it even get better than summertime in Eastern Washington? The answer is, yes… but only if it includes a couple as sweet as Jake and Cheyonna. Their Pullman, Washington Summer engagement session took us to the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dirt roads and wheat fields. Truly the epitome of a perfect Eastern Washington view.
The story of how I got connect with Jake and Chey is actually one of my favorites to tell, because it was just proof of just how small our world is. At the time, my husband and I had recently moved into our first home and were doing lots of remodels within. We had some salvageable cabinets, so I threw them up for sale on Facebook Marketplace (and you can guess who purchased them)! As luck would have it, Jake and Chey had also just purchased their first house AND were recently engaged.
While we were figuring out how to get the cabinets in their car, we started making small talk about house projects, early marriage, etc. My sweet husband casually mentioned that I did wedding photography and they so kindly asked for my card. Within the week they booked me for their engagement session! And showed me photos of the cabinets in their newly renovated laundry room – so fun!
Eastern Washington Engagement Session
Leading up to Jake and Chey’s Pullman, Washington summer engagement session, they weren’t particular on a location. While I was driving to Pullman one day, I stumbled upon the most beautiful spot plopped in the middle of nowhere. I loved it so much that I instantly put a pin on my phone knowing it would be perfect for photos.
From the blue skies to the blowing wheat against the dirt roads, it was as “Eastern Washington” as you could get. Both outfits that Jake and Chey complimented the location perfectly. Chey’s floral romper was everything.
